By booking a session with Kin & Compass, you agree to the following:

  • Sessions are offered by appointment only

  • Session length, fees, and frequency are agreed in advance

  • Payment is required in line with agreed terms

  • Client records and invoices are securely managed using WriteUpp

  • Confidentiality is maintained within ethical and legal limits

  • Kin & Compass reserves the right to pause or end work if it is not appropriate or ethical to continue

Life consultancy is not therapy and does not replace mental health treatment.

Full details are discussed and agreed during your first session.

Privacy Policy - the basics

Kin & Compass is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with care, respect, and transparency.

I collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries, provide services, and meet legal and professional obligations. This may include your name, contact details, session information, and brief clinical or reflective notes where relevant.

Client records, invoices, and appointment details are securely managed using WriteUpp, a GDPR-compliant practice management system designed for counselling and psychotherapy services. WriteUpp supports secure data storage, encryption, and access controls in line with UK data protection standards.

Your information is never shared without your consent, unless required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm. Data is stored securely and retained only for as long as required by professional and legal guidelines.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data in line with UK GDPR. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, please get in touch.

Kin & Compass is committed to offering an accessible and inclusive service.

I aim to make therapy, consultancy, and online information as accessible as possible. Sessions are available online or in person, and reasonable adjustments are welcomed wherever possible.

If you have access needs or require adjustments to support your engagement, please let me know. I will always aim to work collaboratively to reduce barriers and support inclusion.

Refund Policy

Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are charged at the full rate.

Refunds are not usually offered once a session has taken place. Exceptional circumstances will be considered with care and discretion.
